Hi my name is John and I usually post on the indigo snake forum but i have a question concerning my wife's Brazillian Rainbow Boa named Penny
Penny is a couple of years old, probably somewhere close to 4 feet long. We've had her since last summer and she's always eaten f/t rats without hesitation about once a week, every week, up until about 3 weeks ago. She seems to be doing healthy but has spent a lot of time burrowed and she also just recently shed again.
My question is ... is it normal for her to be breaking her routine this time of year? Or for whatever reason should i be concerned? She seems fine otherwise and I am figuring that she is just going through a slow phase or something.
Is this normal for BRB?
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks ... John
