Albino male & 100% het albino female???

malesh02 Mar 16, 2005 10:24 AM

Hello, how much can I expect to spend on an albino male and 100% het albino female? They do not have to be of breeding size but what would the price difference be between snakes of breeding size and those not? Thanks in advance.

Well, it's all relative. Right now, you could expect to pay somewhere in the average of $2,250 for a hatchling albino. An adult could run you a bit more. It depends on the size of the adult. A 1500 gram male is worth much more to me than a 600 gram male. The larger male (generally) can breed more effectively.

100% het albino female. Right now, you could expect to pay somewhere in the average of $700 for a hatchling. The older they are, the more money.

but if you wait a little longer after eggs start to hatch, im sure you could pick up a male for 2k and a 100% het female for 500 or so. just shop around and make sure you are dealing with someone who has a ' name '.

Thanks, does it make more sense to purchase an albino male with het female or albino female with het male? What are the pros and cons???

breed him to several females, including the het female. This could produce more animals for you. With an albino female, you'd only be able to breed the two animals.
