Wow! 3 igs! Are they free roamers? Our Iggi is. How do you keep them from fighting? You can tell they love you.

That is so cool! I wish I could have that many iggys! My boyfriend is still trying to warm up to the idea of having lots of animals in the house. Do they all get along with each other?

I used to have several iguanas free roaming i my house. But all of them were males and when they reached 3 years old they started to fight and i had to adopt them out.Now i only have 2 but i need to keep them in cages because if they have the opportunity they will kill each other.

actualy i have five. they are out most of the time during the day and go in their cages at night and when people are over. you do have to keep an eye on one of them because he gets an attitude with the others. but most of the time they just lay around so its normaly not a problem. they get along with my dogs and cats and even the ferrets and the rats lol. they dont like my beardie or uro. and they think my gecko is a tasty piece of mango. lol not always good on going to the bathroom where they should but thats just a small price to pay for all the love they give me. im always saying that this is the last one but everytime one comes around that needs rescuing or a good home i cant just look the other way. in the begining we were taking them in with the intention of finding good homes for them and adopting them out. but i just cant bare to part with them once i fall in love.

...they will continue to live peacefully but i have little hope.Male iguanas become very territorial when they reach a certain age.

I agree with you that it is very difficult to find good homes for our pets when we are obliged to adopt them out.Even for dogs!I dont like to breed my dogs because i know how hard it is to find good home for the puppies!
