I feel for you man, I have seen those slugs too in my first litter...not a good feeling. Do you have any other females due? Good luck Tom.

Look at it this way, she can be fattened up in a couple months and breed her in August!!! Good luck Tom. Andy

I know how these highs and lows can be.

I really hate to see that. But after ten years of trying to get ANYTHING out of my boas I've done no better. Just be thankful that at one time you were on top of the world....some of us (like myself) have never been past first base.

For those of us without ultrasound machines it is always so devastating to see the slugg litter. This is particularly true in a project you have worked on for a while and can't wait to see the babies. I find slugg litters are harder to clean which just makes it worse. At least she went 30 days early so you can start feeding her up for next year. I hope you have better luck in your other projects.

Your comments are greatly appreciated. Good thing there are more babies on the way (hopefully). Maybe I should invest in an ultrasound machine LOL!
