Building A Ball Python Rack And Cage Size For Male And Female Balls

how to build ball python racks. What kind of wood do I have to use for a ball rack. what size of a cage do I need for my female and male, I have my female and male each in a cage and the cage size is 41 inches long 20 inches wide and 6 inches high is that to big or not. And I will be useing 11 inche heat tape. Thanks Scott Glover

here is a pic of my new rack...

the boxes are sterelite boxes they are about 34 inches long and 16.5 inches wide and 6 inches tall.

the levels on the rack are 3/4 " melamime. they are 36" by 17 inches.

the sides and back are 1/8" bath board this was cut after the boxes are put between the mel.

it is heated by 11" flex watt 1 12" piece.

each level is controlled by a dimmer and the wholle 4 level rack also only has ONE PLUG!!!!!!!!

I did this first to see if it would work and second to set it up incase i wanted to have diffrent types of reptiles or if any boxes are vacant you use no extra power.

here is my new rat racks and my sub-adult ball rack and adult rack the sub rack is again on one plug but the whole rack is on one diimer.
