do beardies like to be pet. because everytime i pet mine she gets really flat like she does when she's scared. im still trying to get her used to me by taking her out close to her bed time and turning off all lights except the t.v. and she falls asleep on me the guy told me it would get her use to me. thanks

if you come from above they think you a bird predator.
so always near them very low so they can see you.
also when you pick them up do it very low .
they have a 3 eye in middle on top of head there they can see uvb/uva rays if you go in summer outside and a bird would fly over they see the bird becuase of the 3 eye.
the bird wil block the uvb/uva rays and the beardie noticed it like a lazerbeam alarm !!

like he said slip ur hand under its bely while ur low and pick him/her up like that, otherwise they feel threatened, and you get a flat playing dead response or a dark beard, you better pull ur hand back slowly im watching you response
