I sold my 2030 gram CBB female ball python at a reptile show for $125 to KCRD. I cant decide if i should of got more, or was that a good price. What does everyone think she was worth? thanks in advance.

So How much should of I sold her for. I bought her as a baby for 60 i think. I only had her she was just a pet,but I do sell bloods, rtb and brb havent sold any balls except that one. But i am starting to wish i have a lot more of them. All i can do is learn from my mistakes. thanks

Well i guess its good to know for next time, Sorry for looking so stupid in front of everyone, I just dont see what makes balls so expensive, I guess it is just a little phase i dont no, but if everyone is makeing moneyon them than go for it, hope it last for ya, thanks

...not foolishness on your part, just a bit out of the loop.

people will pay as they want them for their high end morphs. I'm currently kicking myself for selling some of my giants way back when! I now have a few morphs and in the process of buying a few more!!! I'll have to update the web site and get pics and everything up. Next season should be very nice for me!

Your not looking stupid,now you know.We all learn from our mistakes. Someone got a deal on a female.I get them at my show from time to time and wont pay over $150 for them,and if I sell them they are $500.

there is a nasty trend where people are selling imports as CBB. Sure, you get this nice-sized female, but she won't eat or breed. I find it very hard to find real CBB females.

She was not an import I saw her parents and the person who breed her was my friend. She was eating weekly. And after I sold her for 125 i thought i probably could have got more, so i came here to ask. But it's alright, maybe one day i will want something of his and he will give me a good deal. O well thanks everyone

I wasn't saying yours was an import. What I'm saying is there are clearly many imports being sold as CBB.

I hope he will remember you and give you a good deal. That would be very nice.

Not the people here though : ). Seriously, in my experience the people that buy a snake here or there have by and large been deceitful and quick to take advantage. I can't count how many times over the years people would show up and say "I've only got $90" when the asking price was $110. Oh and the other one is I'm going to show XYZ. Gimme $250 and I'll get you a really nice [read really crappy]Brazilian RB [read brown water snake]. My wife won't let me sell snakes out of the house anymore because of the shady characters that come by. lol!
