I just thought i would share with everyone that my newly aquired baby albino has just eaten his first 2 f/t mice. I just thawed them over night then warmed in hot water and tossed both in front of his hide. He came right out and ate them , backwards lol but he still ate. Thanks for all the help on how to do this properly.

I would suggest using rats instead of mice. They are much better with nutrition and you do not have to switch latter on.

I know, I know the whole rats are better things but i have no acess to f/t rats smaller than the small sizze so im stuck with mice til hes 3 ft, so i say in about 2 months i get him onto rats, hopefully the switch is easy.

Rats are more nutritious? Ive never heard that before, appartanlty Im out of the loop. My burm is past that stage anyway, but I've nveer heard about a nutritional difference. Interesting, any reason why????

Heres a link provided by RodentPro about that kind of stuff, http://www.rodentpro.com/qpage_articles_03.asp. I have found it to be very helpful.

If you can't get rats locally why not order them off of the internet?
