jusmebabe Mar 16, 2005 10:52 PM

Hi,
I found this snake today at work and can't I.D. it. It was in Monterey, Ca. off highway 68 if that helps which is on the central Coast. I had to degrade the pic to make it fit.
I am stumped so please see what you think.

Not too long ago, a group of school kids found the same type of snakes under a rock, and posted a "what is this". It's probably not too far down the forum.

I'v seen tons of posts on these snakes lately , people asking what they are. Must be in good abundance there.

Why do you think they are not good captives?
