Cleo, tierd going up to bed :0)

PHEve Mar 16, 2005 11:20 PM

LOL this looked funny, I had my big girl downstairs with me , letting her run around, after running all through the rooms, she started up the steps The reptile room is up there, guess she was going to bed, hehehhe.

For anyone who does not know Cleo and is wondering about the large scar, she was a rescue over 5 years ago, 3d degee burns down her back and her sides. Opened wounds for a year. Alot of time spent together, made us super PALS.

Anyway shes a dollbaby and looked funny today.

It just breaks my heart to think about the pain that injury must have caused her. You're a wonder to have gotten her through it! She's a beauty!

off, no color, just open flesh, all bloody everyday! It was sad, she was much smaller then.

Could not have anything in her tank that she may bang herself on, except her food dish and paper towels.

I don't know if anyone is familair with the Vandivers, online, but they rescued her first, and did an awesome job, but had too many lizards and no time, thats wher I came in.

She was held in a soft towel everynight until she went to sleep, otherwise she would panic and scratch at the sides of tank, and we were afraid she would hurt herself more.

I never knew much about the story except I believe someone had the light too low, always be careful

ha ha, she is so cute! they are alot smarter than people think they are
that is so cute (yet sad) that you had to snuggle her to sleep every night. i am surprised she does not grab a towel and start running towards you at sundown!

Boy, she is looking so awesome Eve!!! I remember a few yrs ago (boy, that long already LOL) when she was not doing too well.
You have doen such a miraculous job with her Eve!!!! Be proud and enjoy that rewarded close bond you have!!!! I'm back concentrating on my passion of the geryi's and up to 2.5 currently, though most are juvies. Will be obtaining a few adult females shorlty.........when the budget exists. LOLOL

Yeah, these Egyptians are pretty hardy Nice pets.

Glad to hear your back and working with the (I like to call them Saharans) sounds Exotic I put my girl on hold until weather is warmer, still down in the 20's at night here.

Last time you and I really talked you were about to leave for training ???? To complete your conseling pursuits.

Hope it all went your way, and I really wish you the best and actually hope I NEVER need your services , LMAO (falling off my swivel chair, laughing)

Need some good pics from you, where are they????

More exotic huh? Saharan's, geryis', nigers...........pick one??? I also like saharans myself! LOL I'll have to get some pics up here very soon! Currently I have one subadult male in with 3 sub females and 1 juvie (a little cutie LOL) They are doing awesome, very healthy! 2 came from Lindsay and got real nice deals on the male and others. Then I have a super male red, that is ready to breed, thus should have 2 adult females here within the next 2 weeks.

Oh, finished my MS degree a while back and took a breather. Stil lworking my bill paying job and doing the counseling on the side.......and loving it!!! Working with a lot of kids (unfortunately/fortunately), right up my alley!!! I have a pretty balanced shedule, so was able to get back into the saharan interests again and also my tegus. :0) I'm just working with the sarahans and won't get into the ornates like I was before......I love them guys too, however.......budget reasons....

Talk with ya soon Eve and I'll try to get pics up this evening........

Greg
