it works wonders, its the only method i would trust 100%, although it is just a very basic method. i don't do it exactly like him, i use vermiculite, but only because i had a lot laying around the house that i didn't want to go to waste.

thanks and I have a question you might know the answer to.I have to know how much perlite by grams and how much water by grams to have the right mixture and do I keep it sealed tight with the eggs inside with no holes poked in it or anything I know about the air exchange but I am curios about this. Thanks
God bless
exactly, no holes are needed. i think with holes in it, it dries out the perlite, but not sure.

to use his method but i wasn't sure of what water to vermiculite ratio to use. i think it was 1 to 1 (water to vermiculite) but i'm not sure. what do you use??? thanx!
1:1 is the right ratio, but i dont use it. all i do is, soak the vermiculite in a bucket of water then take handfulls and squeeze as much water as i can out of it, with it still being clumpy. it works great for me.

I used the Albey method this year with 100% good results if the egg was fertile it hatched and healthy! I used the Albet method with a homemade incubator from a coleman 48 qaurt cooler. I did not poke any holes in the cups just opened every 4 or 5 days to burp the air. I have digital scales and did it exactly the way shown. The perlite feels somewhat dry but the moisture works its way to the bottom and then keeps the air in there just right. I recommened it to everybody. - Geeboo
if you know how to measure by weight the perlite and the water will you please let me know and I have a servin' saver that is a little bigger than the one in the instructions.

20 leos 4 eggs incubating, 1 alligator snapper, 1 bullfrog, 2 cats (1 pregnant)
God bless,
Nick
If you have a scales go to the site it has step by step instructions www.albeysreptiles.com I believe you put on the container then tare it out. Add perlite to container take that weight and multiply it by .8 I believe this is the weight of the water that you want to add. The site explains it real well step by step it is under incubation. I am not really sure what you need to know though. -Geeboo
