Stubborn Female????HELP!!!!

geckobreeder123 Mar 17, 2005 05:09 PM

I have a female high yellow that I am trying to get to breed to my male. I have one problem. she has absolutely NO interest in breeding. I know shes fully mature. Is there any way to get my female to take an interest? Thanks for any help.

Then she doesn't want to breed. She might not *personally* be ready to breed. Or maybe she's not interested.

Are you sure she's a she? It's happened before. Someone were absolutely certain that they yes that a female.. Finally got it tested, and voila they had a boy!

Wow, judging by your name I would think you knew what you were doing....LOL

Anyway, females need to go through their cycle before they "want" to breed.... Give her time and introduce the male every couple of days..... She will come around soon enough....

Excuse me, Gregg, but there is absolutely No excuse or reason for your rudeness.

I presented 2 options that could be a problem, knowing that other people on this board would be able to give other options.

If you did not agree with the options, you did not have to insult me in the process.

By the way, Gregg also stated, "females need to go through their cycle before they "want" to breed...." That's simply another way of saying what I said: "She might not *personally* be ready to breed." If you're going to insult my options, then do not give the same options yourself.

Dusty, once again you misuderstood my post and who it was directed to.... I thought it was funny that someone by the name of "GeckoBreeder" was looking for help in breeding leos.... Thats who my first part of my post was directed to.... And it was a joke to begin with, not rudeness.... Again, my post was not directed to you..... You gotta quit jumping the gun.....LOL

To GeckoBreeder: Just make sure that, if she doesn't seem ready to breed, then you keep her separated for a few days. Otherwise, the male WILL be ready to breed & majorly stress her out.

It's kind of like when Woman A walks into a club, not interested in hooking up, but all the guys are hitting on her - and those guys absolutely refuse to take NO!!!!!!!!! for an answer! But her only ride home is Woman B, who wants Woman A to hook up with someone and so refuses to take her home.

Do ye ken?

To Gregg: Oyyyy Gregg!!!!!!!! Ya need to reply to that post then.. lol quit replying to MY post..!!! I'm gonna go crazy here!!!

Note to Self: Gregg only replies to ME when I'm jumping on him for insults/Jokes.

Note to Gregg: Quit that!!!!! And remember that not everyone can tell you're joking when it's only the written letter. Unfortunately, we all read our own moods into what other people right, since that other force of personality is not behind it.
