How easy is it to clean them? I have a helix panel that i can wipe clean and the like. Do they have a guard or are they completely exposed?
Thanks sym

What kind of cleaning are you talking about? This is something that hangs from the ceiling, so there would be very minimal stuff to clean.... i've never cleaned mine. They don't have that lip like a helix does so snakes cant climb on them (I like that very well actually).
here's a pic

I was refering to moisture and like...
That is a pro-panel, right? Is that the bare element? It looks like it has a cover of sorts. I was thinking of installing mine in my boaphile, but I hate the way moisture builds up in the enclosure. I Like Helix because of the moisture resistance(give or take). I will give pro-panels a try once the situation arrises.

No, nothing is exposed. I'ts not sealed like a helix panel is, however if you have moisture building up on the walls of the enclosure, your humidity is way too high. this will cause mildew and mold and possbile RI's in your animal. (what do you have by the way?)
I use mine for my green tree python, therefore it is in a high humidity situation. works great.

It is not used in a high humidity set up. When the animal deficates or knocks his bowl over. I do have high humidity at those times and I would like to wipe away the moisture. That was pretty much it. I have red tail boas that I use my heat panels with.
thanks John
