Anyone else have those plastic racks like Kelli H. does? More >

Leo Lover Jul 09, 2003 12:16 AM

I am considering getting one, but I wanted to know if anyone else has bought one of those racks and what they think of it?

If anyone has these racks, are there alot of room in the plastic shoe boxes that you got? If you have the dimensions of the box that would be great.
I'm looking around for a rack for a few of my breeding leos, and before I make up my mind, I just want everyone's opinion.
Thanx!

I know Bruce has some also...

I'm about to order some myself and there is a long list of happy customers in a post on the "B.O.I".

As far as tub sizes go... if you want the exact dimensions you can visit the rubbermaid/sterilite site and look up the model number.

But most of the racks take your typical rubbermaid blanket box or sweater box.

The only choice I'm trying to make is weather to get #S15 or S17.

And am about to place a big order for myself.

I have nothing but good things to say about the product and the company. I spoke with Mark (the owner) at length today on the phone and he is as polite as can be and certainly very knowledeable.

He's a snake person, but we won't hold that against him.

If you want to drop me a line e2macpets@yahoo.com I would be more than happy to talk with you at length.

I really am quite confidant in suggesting the racks. Just be sure to use a thermostat or rheostat with the belly heat, that heat cord works too well in that particular application and WILL FRY your animals if you are careless. For this reason the racks are shipped with the plug unattached, so that you can think about how you want to set it up before simply plugging in and risking your animals.

Best,
