She is pretty full now. These large meals last quite a while and seem to do so much better. I think hairless rats are best for all nerodia. They have no hair at any age and they are plenty big enough for all nerodia.

Where are you getting hairless rats?
Looks like one healthy snake!
I'm thinking of getting rid of my plastic housing and investing in 30 gallon long aquariums with water filters, big river stone, basking branches and live plants.
Plastic is fine, but I miss watching the snakes behavior.
I got my hairless form a petstore. Some rodent breeders have them. Most petstores can get them for you. By all means do what you want whether plastic or glass, as long as the snake gets the best out of it.

I see you're still trying to turn your waters into sausages! If you feed greens like that they'll out-grow even you!
With regard to a "plastic tray" set-up, this would work well for a production system, at a total loss of aesthetics. Notwithstanding, it may be ideal for little ones, allowing them to be separated for their own safety.
Once again, gotta run ... bigger one below is female!
