Manuel versus Digital timer - please help me choose.

crimsoneden Mar 17, 2005 11:06 PM

Hi I'm looking to buy a timer for my two baby red ear sliders so they can have a better day night cycle. I found two different types of timers on ebay.
1. CORALIFE POWER CENTER LIGHT/PUMP 24H TIMER WAVE MAKER
2. DIGITAL TIMER POWER STRIP
Can anyone please let me know which is better? I want the most reliable and lasting one for my two cuties. If you have other timers that works better please let me know. Thank you.

I'm not familiar with the specific instruments mentioned, but I LOVED my old digital timer and wept when Radio Shack stopped carrying them. They are really much better than the manual but not quite as reliable and long-lasting. They are usually for lower electrical loads but who knows?
