Falling asleep(little story)

Zhar Mar 18, 2005 04:10 AM

Around 1am EST I walked over to my lizards cage and noticed that he was sleeping on his log holding on to the bars surrounding his light. when I reached into the cage and felt he was cold, I decided to bring him out and hold him for a little while. When I put my hand under him to reomve him from his grip on the bars he climbed right onto me. I decided I would go sit on the couch and watch some tv with him on my chest. So I started the stove and layed back on the couch, with him on my chest. About three hours later I awoke, with him still on my chest. Was a good night sleep.

Please tell me your house didn't burn down since you left the stove on.

Also, that's pretty cute. But remember this: if you are going to start the stove DO NOT forget about it. I'd hate to read a message saying you accidentally burned your house down.

No no, my pellet stove lol. Its a stove that uses pellets that look like rabbit food but it compressed wood. It was cold in house so I started it to warm him up. Thank you for caring though

That sounds so familiar. We take our BD out sometimes before her light goes out. She is so comforting laying there with her eyes closed I almost fall asleep myself. You know when you nod off and sometimes forget this little, fragile creature is laying there on our chests?....I have to be very careful when I do this. Non BD people just don't understand the connection we have, do they?
