Opinion on using fiberglass for tortoise enclosure?

jbly Mar 18, 2005 06:43 AM

Has anyone used fiberglass tubs for tortoises? They are normally too expensive but found a good deal so I'm considering getting one that is 5 by 7 feet and 18 inches tall. I currently use plastic tubs.

Anything I should consider?

Thank you,

jbly

other than easy to clean/uvb repellant(?) (well...depend on how heavy it is to move minus all that dirt/water ...) it looks:...zzz (like a pet store)...not bad if served as a "convertable"...i means "converTABLE"...(but a gain...plastic tubs served da same purpose)... if ya know what i mean...
