I will never understand the fascination some people have with very large snakes. Perhaps living in a state where people (who learn what maintenance on a large snake means) throw their unwanted pets into the Everglades-has me sour on it.
Your closet has limited floor space which means that large Boas and Pythons would not have that much space to move. Since your main room is height, why don't you consider Arboreal species? Tree Boas can be gorgeous and would do great in there with branches. So would the large Asian ratsnakes. You might want to consider (depending upon what your closet is made of) making sure it is water proof or you could end up with a rot problem.

coverting rooms or closets to reptile enclosures does present some problems. the excessive heat and humidity will often cause the pain to peel or become inhabitated by mold. A cheap solution is to paint the room with a water resistant gloss paint. if this was your house and you wanted to do it right, you would replace the dry wall with green board.
