Some bad news and some good news

AlteredMind99 Mar 18, 2005 11:05 AM

So one of my leo's was euthanized yesterday....it was an awfully depressing experience and i was really bummed all day. It was sort of nice though because i am a vet tech and someone brought in a leo for an appointment so i got to go in and help these other people out with their leo...I helped them correct some husbandry issues and told them about this forum! It made me feel a little better...

Some other good news though, today when i went to try feeding the remaining leo he gobbled down about 7 crickets right away! Im really glad and i am hoping at least one of them will pull through this....

Im going to be cleaning out the othre leo's cage today. Will filling it with bleach water, letting it soak, scrubbing it and letting it air dry kill off any parasites and bacteria or do i need something more powerful?

Nothing new is going to be moving into the tank for several weeks at least so it will have plenty of time to air out
