You know we're getting bad when we start bragging about our snake's crap and take pictures of it! LoL! God helps us! Although, I have to admit that when my snake craps I like to see it since I know that means he's digesting his rodents properly.
We're definitely a rare breed of people aren't we. LoL
Speaking of Poo, does anyone know what would be good to do for a constipated BP? I have given her the wamr water soaks, but that doesn't seem to work. I have been told and read that you can inject her food with something to work as a laxative of sorts. Anyone know what it is and the proper dosage by weight? If I can't inject her food with something, I'll have to take her to the vet. It's been about a month since she pooed, maybe even a little longer..

Mineral oil is used to inject into the food item. Sorry, I don't recall the proper dosage. This can also be done directly by using a large syringe and a feeding tube. Has she been eating well since the last time she dropped a load? If not she may not have much to drop. Hope this helps.
Quig
Just regular mineral oil? Yes she has been eating regularly since she last went. One adult mouse a week, with no problems.
Circusfan
yup. It won't harm the snake. Question...........can you feel solids in the lower third of her body. That 'may' indicate possible constipation. Also keep trying the warm soaks. I have a young burm who, for the first two months I had her, ate a small rat every 3 days and didn't pass any waste. Nor did anything build up inside. I actually thought she was absorbing every last bit of the food items. When she did finally go, almost three months after I got her,it was a small load. Some snakes don't go as often as others I guess. If you become to concerned about it just take her to the vets.
Quig
Thanks. I actually don't feel anything solid there. I'll wait a little longer and if she doesn't go, I'll take her to the vet just to be on teh safe side.
