kurvii Jul 09, 2003 01:56 AM

Could anyone tell me what the average size is for a 1yr old ball? I have not weighed her but she messures at 33 inches and was just wondering if that sounds about right.

Thanks

That sounds about right. They are suspose to grow around a foot a year for the first couple years. I finally got mind to eat. I think the trick to getting balls to eat is not handle them UNTIL they start to eat. But anyway, I bought a baby ball about 1 1/2 months ago and he finally ate about a week ago and actually, I acquired a female baby ball last night from a co-worker. I do have a question though. How often did you feed yours?? Thank You

Yeah, that's about right. I've got a monster-eater female normal who just passed her first birthday, and is 38" and 1240g.

Teaxaboa; I feed my bp every week a mouse (live) and I have never had a single problem. She pigs out on it and downs it in about 5 minutes flat. She's a great eater. I was thinking of feeding her a small rat or maybe two mice a week to get her to grow bigger, still thinking it over.
