Normal [het for nothing] 03 Brooksi or Floridana???

Nokturnel Tom Mar 18, 2005 05:22 PM

I bought this snake and 2 sibs from someone who swore they came from high yellow adults. I was pissed when I saw the babies,,,,,they arrived in lousy shape and barely had any yellow on them. Now it is a year later and this is what it looks like. This is by far the darkest, LEAST yellow animal I own or have ever seen referred to as "Brooksi". What do you think?

"Kids in TV-land, you've been duped!" (Bart Simpson)

Sorry Tom! Someone slid the wool over your eyes - pulled a quick one on you - kicked the dirt under the ol' rug! As a reward of their "sincere honesty" you should let us all know who this As--tronaut is so we can all buy his "top-of-the-line stuff" - As soon as H_LL freezes over!!!

Ok, but seriously:
Wow, sorry to hear that! You have what Jetzen refers to: "A butt ugly Floridana!" Actually it's not that ugly, but it IS rather common-normal("dime a dozen" looking. I think that this definetely warrants a "customer beware" title as a minimum. . .
There you have it, my little opinion,

This guy was pure butt ugly as a baby then in early 03' he started losing his excessive black and by late 03' he was looking good and is getting better all the time.10/6/04

Yeah, I realize that now but I still wonder if ANY more yellow will develop. The funny part is in the pic in the ad the snake was balled up and there was some yellow coming inside the first few blotches. The ad said it was a glimpse of what was to come HAHAHAHAHA, Guess what? That is about the only spot that has yellow in the blotches. I am not happy about it but the snake did put on a lot of size and the 3 het for nothing normals I have all sport different looks. I look forward to seeing the difference in the looks of the babies when they will be fathered by the same male but bred to the different females. Tom Stevens

Yes, at least something to look froward to. It WILL be interesting to see what you'll come up with. I noticed in Jetzen's pic that his "Butt-Ugly" is no longer his name sake. He IS putting on some VERY nice colors. . . Maybe yours will pick up at least a little more yellow?
