your children, relatives or whoever. This is my helper Michael Starkey trying to control my Belknap female Bolivian I got from Tim at the San Diego show in 1997, when she was only 20 inches long. How time flies.
Come on Jeremy, I've met Gaylynn, but I'm sure the forum readers would like to see the person behind Stone's reptiles. All the helpers deserve some air time LOL. Hope ya all have a great season.

She's not quite a helper but she does love the boas. This is my girlfriend and the webmaster of my site. She gets to have all the fun and I get to clean all the cages. What a ripp off huh?

Sounds like a good deal to me, not a rip off at all. I have to do my own website. She's a looker, by the way, no rip off there!

Here's my sometime helper and the love of my life with a soon-to-be-due for her first litter female Bci.

and my other helper, Oli, the Newfoundland, with Becky, and more of her this time.

matthewpope Mar 18, 2005 08:56 PM

OK man, here is my helper and girlfriend Shelly. She is pretty brave with the boas and all for being a "girly girl".

Here is a pic of Parks, Futo, Miller, Yagi, and myself from Daytona 03 I think it was.

Here is Steve and I about 2 years ago at his Bachelor’s graduation. In May we will both be re-graduating. Him with his Master's and me with my Bachelor’s in of all things... Biology emphasis genetics and herpetology...

Gaylynn is a great person, I had the pleasure of having dinner with the Stone family, she, and her husband last year, they are all wonderful people.
I wonder if we are spelling her name right?

She will be four in August and she says that is when she will be old and get to have a boa. She loves the hypos!! But for some reason she does not like the albinos.

Thanks
Bob

And another up and coming she was born on Feburary 25, only a few weeks old and probably knows more about snakes than most adults. lol

This is all kind of like travelling 700 miles while talking on a CB (I date myself...). After talking with folks for a few hundred miles, it's always fun to put a face with the voice.
All the best-

Here you go Derek. She will kill me for posting a pic. However, She really is a HUGE part of Jeremy Stone Reptiles. My collection and business would be nowhere near what it is today without her. She goes through all the heartaches and success. This is a VERY large Hypo she is holding. I sent her to Pete Kahl on breeding loan a few years ago. She gave birth to two good litters of Salmon Jungles there. However, after this year the Birthing was too much. Her ovaries were shot and she passed away at Dr. Stahls office. That is how it goes with the Boas. You win some, you loose some.

Take Care Derek. I should show the GREAT pic of me as a kid. LOL

agree, that breeding takes a toll on females. Shane and I always talk about deaths related to breeding. WOW....that's what I'm talking about a killer ADULT hypo. See you and the family in Daytona.

Jeremy Stone Mar 19, 2005 11:16 PM

Alright Derek, You got me. I was going to save this one for the new web page. However, I'm having fun tonight.

This is me with my VERY first Boa I got for Christmas in the 4th Grade. This is me 22 Years Ago. The Boa is TASHA. I did BACKFLIPS when I got her for Christmas. All I was able to keep untill her was Corns, Rat snakes, Florida Banded Water snakes, and Garters. Oh yeah, that Ball python that HARDLY ate. This was a HUGE suprise. It is definatley my most memorable Christmas.

5 years later, I bred her as my First Breeding. She gave 23 babies. I WAS ADDICTED AFTER THAT!!!!!

Please hold the Laughs. This is a Photo My parents MADE me do!!! LOL (how do you like the 80's cloth tie) LOL

Take Care, Jeremy Stone

There certainly some large boas kept here! My 5 year old female is only 6 1/2 feet, her mother was smaller, but even so, I"ve seen many boas and only a few look as big as some in these pics
