...These are a couple of my Campina Grande Rainbow Boas, Epicrates cenchria asissi. These snakes are more active than my other Rainbow Boas. They spend much more daylight time out moving in their cages. They also will come to see what is going on when I open their cages. Though the colors are not as pretty as some of the other subspecies they are very iridescence. All four of them I have are young adults and are between three and four feet long. Notice in the head shot that there are small undifferentiated scales well forward of the eyes on top of the head around the frontal scale.
