Canebrake Rattlesnake

glitterlust Mar 18, 2005 09:44 PM

This is a canebrake that i came accross yesterday near my yard. Since i'm an semi-profesional nature photographer, i decided to take advantage of it and got a shot. Then i moved him about 3 miles down the road where there is no houses near by. I was curious though to why he would be outside at that time, it was only 55 degress at the time, it seemed weird.

yes he was awesome! So melo, but that might of been the temp. Thats the 3rd rattler that i've seen in a week, i hope to find more and get pics soon. I used to mainly photograph birds, but i might start doing herps. Its the perfect time of the year for it.
