How long after shed does a snake usually start eating again?

There's no time frame......I've had them eat the next day...the week after...month after.........whenever they feel like eating.

Offer food....it eats...great!.....if not...damn! and you now have to "care" for a rat/mouse until it gets eaten...

Mine eat right after they get the stuff off their eyes. They're pigs :>

I was told many years ago not to feed during the shed cycle. After I joined this board I found many people were feeding (or at least offering) during shed. My practice now is to offer on schedule, whether they are about to shed, in shed or just finished shedding. All my guys (and girls) continue eating on schedule.
