Scales

hi i've just noticed a couple of small patches of scales on my royal that are dull in comparison to the rest has my snake got some kind of disorder or is this normal? any help would be really appreciated, thanks

It may be dried scales from a prior shed. If you can't remove them, soak your animal and make sure the overall humidity is good. I wouldn't be too concerned with it but keep an eye on it. I've noticed that dry scales are often due to low humidity but I could be wrong. Just my personal observations.

Hi, thanks for the advice, i had a suspicion it might be something like that my snake has had shedding problems before due to humidity ive been working with it and they've improved loads, i'll just have to keep a closer eye on it. Once again thanks for the advice.
