Here I go again, now my wife brought home a schneider skink. "But it's so cute", is all I got as she trudged through the door with a new tank and all the fixings.

I read some about the schneider but have not yet found a good web site other thean Kaplan's web site. Is play sand more preferred than the typical substrate? Being omnivorous is there a food to stay away from?

Any other advise will be greatly appreciated, other than how to keep her away from the big reptile show coming up in April. She keeps staring at her bank book muttering April, April.
