Greetings,
I have a large WC female Nevada speckled Chuck who is doing quite well in a 95-100 degree 150 gallon aquarium with plenty of cover and UV light. The problem I am experiancing with her is mites. I just cant seem to get rid of them. I have cleaned her aquarium with a mixture of bleach and water, replaced the substrate, boiled cover and basking rocks several times to no avail. I even submerge her up to her nostrils in warm water for up to thirty minutes hoping to drown any that are on her. I am just wondering if anyone has had this same problem and if so what the best solution might be. I have had her for almost two years and am not looking forward to taking her back to the desert where I found her, but will if cant figure out a way to get rid of these dang mites.
