MacArthur Jul 09, 2003 07:45 AM

Hi,

I'm kinda new and was wondering, how will I start to hold my leo and can it be handled after a while of not-handleing???

If it is a young leo then it will probably not like to be handled. Handle it every once in a while, but not frequently since baby leos are defensive and handling stresses them out. As the leo matures and grows, the defensive behaviors fall away and it will allow you to pick it up more often. Get the baby used to your hands now by hand feeding it mealies or crickets.
