problem with female..

mpherp Mar 19, 2005 02:59 PM

Hi, I had a female lay eggs about a month ago(all bad)and she didnt eat for a couple days afterward. She started eating and I thought everything was going to be fine. Then about 2 weeks later I had my 7 year old female suddenly get really skinny by her tail and her back bone was sticking out. She then died a week later and when I found her she was completely bloated like a tennis ball but still skinny on the tail. So my other female the one that just layed eggs is starting to look like this and has stopped eating. Any suggestions on what to do besides from taking her to the vet would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
mike

Sounds like either MBD or internal parasites. I know you don't want to be told this- but take her to a vet ASAP. You'll not be able to FIX her without help from a qualified vet.
