My name is Andrew and I'm a potential new frog owner. After countless encounters with the numerous cuban tree frogs in my S.FL neighborhood, I feel that it might be interresting and rather fun to have a pet tree frog. I have had a snake before which in the end died of unknown causes and I plan on recieving another either today or tomorrow, but as for the frog, I'm unsure about which species to get. RETFs are beautiful and remain rather small compared to some other types such as White's tree frog, however, I've noticed that they are supposedly more difficult to take care of. My question would be: What would be the best choice for a new frog owner as to species and what would be the requirements for that species? Would it be wrong for me to take on red eyed tree frogs for a starter? Also, how would I go about setting up a 30 gallon tall tank? Thankyou for any help.
