Are waxworms alright to feed to a baby gecko (2 months old) and if so how many would be enough because i heard if you feed to many to them the geckos get fat

You don't have to worry about a baby getting fat but you may have a problem feeding him anything else after he eats waxies. They have been described as leopard gecko "Twinkies." Once they get a taste for wax worms they often refuse more nutritional food items. Then you have to wean them back to mealworms and crickets with such things as mealworm shakes, smooshed crickets, etc. Pet food "Fear Factor" style, especially for whoever has to clean the blender!
Waxworms do have nutritional value, along with lots of fat, but at 10 cents a shot I don't see the point.
