palex134 Mar 19, 2005 06:20 PM

how handleableare leaf tails. I have cresteds and are woundering if uroplatus geckos are as gentle and calm as cresteds. Can you hold leaf tails without them running away or are they better to be viewed?

No leaf tail can be considered a hands on reptile even CB ones. They should only be handled when neccesity arrives. Don't not get a leaf tail thinking you can handle it, they stress very easily. Leaf tails are display animals only.
