Nice results from one of the "little guys"

I think I did a good job selecting this holdback as a hatchling. Hatched here in 2003 and maternally incubated. This was a red baby with giant white dorsal triangles and a black connecting dorsal stripe.

This is him on day one. Eggs started hatching and the remaining clutch was removed from mom and placed in a tub for a quiet exit from the egg. Thats him in the foreground:
