I have a male & female that are probably about 6 months old. They have been together this whole time. I knew that in time they would have to be separated. Recently, the female has taken to hiding under a bush, under the food dish, etc. This keeps her rather cooled. She hasn't been eating as vigorously or basking as often. The male has now grown to almost twice her size in just the past few weeks. I separated them today, setting her up in her own tank. I expect it to take a bit of time, but she only ate a couple crickets and burrowed to the bottom of the tank and curled up under a bush like she has been. She has access to water, greens, bearded dragon bites, properly dusted crickets, a warm basking site, the proper UV light. Any ideas why or ideas how to bring her back to basking and gorging as she used to do? Thanks in advance.
