Today I see my neighbor shooting his BB gun, so I go over and see what hes shooting at. Well I look at whats near his feet and its a veiled chamelon. I asked him what he was doing and he said putting it out of its misery. So I asked him what was wrong with it, and he said that it had been sick for months and he couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. So I asked him if he has taken it to the vet to see what was wrong with it, and he told me "they have vets for things like this"! I couldn't believe it. So finally as I am about to turn my head he shot it right through the heart with a BB, and then when he saw it bleeding all over the leaves, he says to me "its blood is red", like he thought it was an alien or something! This guy is older then me...hes 25 years old. I have never seen anyone do that to an animal in my life. All he kept sayins is "I don't want to see him suffer" yet the animal had been like this for months. I would say this animal was maybe 6 months old. It was so beautiful, its a shame when people like that own animals.

OK. Before you read the rest of this post report him to your local S.P.C.A. office. That is cruelty to animals. It makes me sick to think that someone that ignorant could do that and just walk back in like it was the right thing to do. The real way to put it out of it's misery would have been to give it to an adoption center so somebody could take care of it. That story f**king disgusts me.
