Update on bearded not eating, MORE INFO PLEASE

firefighter2598 Mar 19, 2005 08:01 PM

He has regained his appetite. He ate 19 crickets then stopped. He usually eats more. I then tried mealworms, which he gobbled. He ate about 35 of those. Normally, I don't feed mealworms very often, but I'm just doing what I can to get him to eat. Altogether, he only stopped eating for about 48 hours. Is this something I should be worried about, or is this something that dragons do from time to time?

His color is still off, but the beard doesn't seem as drastic as before. He is a grayish color all over now. CheriS-- the bulb is a power sun UV 100 watt bulb. Hope this helps. Thank you for the previous replies.

IF it is a 100 watt it should be 12 inches from him.

Again, what are you checking your temps with?

sick on tape guages and the round stick on ones are not accurate as much as 20 degrees off.

HE may just have has an uspet tummy from whatever he ate the day before, we have had that happen a few times, giving acidolphiliz helped the dragons within 30 minutes to 2 hours
