The first few weeks were pretty tough on her. She was just skin and bones and was full of parasites. One round of panacure and a few rounds of parazap--coupled with syringe feedings and lots of pro-biotics and she started to pick up.
She has since had 2 clean fecals--the vet did not charge us for these--he considered her a learning tool for his students! We stopped by to say hello last week and they were blown away at this 'new' lizard! She has gained 75 grams and has shed once. Her only permanent disability from her neglect-(first home) are her fused toes on her front feet. They are fused in a curved position for the most part and makes climbing a little tough at times--but she manages. She is a super sweet baby--and loves her berries--she proudly wears her lipstick after a 'berry day'. It took a few weeks, but she now readily eats her RepCal pellets--first thing out of her salad dish every morning. She has also developed a fondness for silkworms--luckily I have my own colony established.
Here is a picture I took today. I'll post her 'before shot in another message.
