croc found lunch (large rat)

Nice little croc, is that a rolled up carpet in the first pic? Hard to tell since it is blurry.

Yea, its a strip of indoor/outdoor carpet about 4 inches wide and a few feet long that the lizards in that enclosure use to get into the different levels. They swing back and forth on it and side to side on too, i cant figure out why they do it, they seem like they may be playing? The strip had been pulled up by that lizard from him hurrying to the upper levels to get to a rat. It doesnt shread up to much so im not to worried about it.

This pics of my most manageable croc, ive had her since a baby, shes about 6 foot maybe. She will come out of her enclosure take the food out of your hand and go back to eat it, then come out for more. This croc seems to undersant a lot more then others and will come to the enclosure door while its open and wait patiently while i open it and wait till i replace the water tub in the morning and then jump in to soak. I started out with tongs about a year and a half ago, then gloves and then bare hands, im sure one of these days ill get the crap bit out of me.
