Wondering

I tried to do a search, though I am probably not doing it right, I have a Moncale Cobra (Naja kaouthia), and I am trying to do some research on if and of course where I could perhaps purchase soem antivenom so that I may have a supply *incase* of an emergency.

Well..it's not that easy..

The short answer:

Antivenom for non native snakes is cosidered "experimental" by the FDA/USDA and you need to file paperwork with them approved by your doctor to be able to import the A/V. This process from start to finish take months. Some hospitals will not use your A/V even if you have and brought it with you to the hospital. Just because they have no control over how it was stored by the keeper. They don't want to take the chance it went bad.

Try signing up for the A/V bank now forming.
