male/female introduction? please reply

palex134 Mar 20, 2005 06:59 AM

when breeding cresteds, would introduce the male into the females cage or the female in the males cage. I have 1.1 who are almost ready to breed. Should I raise the tempature a bit when i breed them. My tempature is in high 60s low 70s right now. Also, how long after breeding does the female drop eggs?

You should boost the daytime temp. to around 75-80 degrees. After mating you should see some eggs within a month or so my first time breeders usually take a little longer.
