not eating IMPORTANT!!!

yesterday i came from orlando to jacksonville about a 2 hr drive and i had to bring my dragon along with me. there was none to take care of her for a whole week so i brought her along now shes not eatin barley anything at all is it because of the move please responde thank you.

just make sure your beardie has a set up with the proper temps. Any change in environment usually causes stress. Our male did not eat for a week when he was moved to a larger tank even though it was much better housing.

Keep your beardie hydrated--by soaking or offering water by drops on the nose. Offer them fresh food daily--try hand feeding it might help.

When you get back to 'normal' housing you may still see some signs of stress for a week or so. Beardies are pretty hardy--unless you see evidence of drastic weight loss there is no big concern.

One thing to look out for is that stress can cause a parasite 'bloom'...get a fecal sample to the vet if you see evidence of runny or very smelly poo...
