Introduction......

DanDrista666 Mar 20, 2005 09:07 AM

Hi my name is Dan and I just wanted to introduce myself before anyone wonders who the "newbie" is....

Like many of you i've been keeping and breeding reptiles my entire life but within the past 3 years life has gotten in the way so I slowly got out of it so to speak. At that time many things were kept as pets with very few focuses on breeding projects. Dart frogs were my last focus and due to problems with flies getting all over me while I slept I sold off my collection and basically took a break from reptiles.

Now rather than make my old mistakes of using tons of glass tanks, I'm investing in boaphile rack systems and thermostats. This time rather than go nuts and adopt and buy everything I can, I plan on focusing on boids mostly and fat-tail geckos. On wednesday I am being given a 1.1 pair of ball pythons. Just normal of course but they'll mark the first pair of snakes upon my return.

It must be an amazing thrill to hatch out a snake like a high end ball python so I definitely will be looking into getting some het albino balls to get some interesting breeding projects going.

Anyway thanks for reading my rant...I basically just wanted to do this to avoid being thought of as a newbie right off the bat because I am far from it.

Does anyone here use the Rhino racks from boaphile?
