My 3.5 foot green albino burmese python has a big mite problem that i have been treating for about a week now, but to no avail, but last night, it started to clear up. I wiped her down in Reptile Relief, and cleaned her cage and bowl. I cleaned the cage with the Reptile Relief, like it said, then washed it down with cold water. I did the same thing with the water. I let them both dry, and put in new aspen bedding. She has been soaking in the water for about a day now, all of the mites on her neck down have died and washed off, but she still has mites under her bottom lip,and some that have gotten in her eye sockets, and she wont let me go near her head. I noticed the mites in her eyes the same day that I noticed them on her body, about a week ago. I was just wondering if you could give me suggestions on how to get them out of her eyes, but I was thinking of using a Q-tip and soaking it in the Reptile Relief, to get the mites on her bottom side of her lip. But how can I get the mites out of her eyes?? Thanks!
