Is this burm healthy and underweight or not?

bloodboy128 Mar 20, 2005 04:44 PM

Ok well i am in the pet store and there is a gorgeous male albino burm. He is 6 years old at 11 ft. and 60 pounds. He has good muscle tone and alertness but I heard that full grown burms are about 14 ft even males and 100 pounds. Is this burm underweight or is this right for a male burm...thanks I was jw

Some of the snakes you hear about are overweight and obese. You could take that one and put more weight on him by feeding him lots but its not healthy. I would say it sounds pretty good. Snakes are like people some grow big and some not so big. My female is 11 ft and between 60 and 70 pounds. Remember males stay smaller to. Just my thought.

Ok I just wanted to make sure beacuse ovr at the albinoburmese.com forums they say that a male burm should grow to around 15 ft and 100 or more pounds. And that sounded a little more like females to me or a GIANT male...neway thanks for the info
