is it normal for a beardie to not shed for months at a time because mine hasn't since jan?

bc i thnk sheeding is a growing sign, mine hasnt since end nov and she is a full grown adult and my male since about the same time, bc they are both adults dont get me wrong they always shed just more as babys bc they are growing, and slow down are adults hpw old is yours, and sometime mine shed in patches at diff times like my females head is strating now but her back is still fine
