Herpers:
The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AGFD) is proposing revisions to rules listed in Article 4, Live Wildlife. These amendments will affect the regulations for the general use and possession of live wildlife, including special licenses (that's you, herpers). The Department will hold (public) meetings at the following locations to discuss these amendments:
1) 04/04/05 at 6:00pm. Arizona State Fairgrounds, Wildlife Building, 1826 W. McDowell Road, Phoenix, AZ 85007
2) 04/05/05 at 6:00pm. AGFD Flagstaff Regional Office. 3500 S. Lake Mary Road, Flagstaff AZ 86001
3) 04/06/05 at 6:00pm. AGFD Yuma Regional Office. 9140 E. 28th Street, Yuma AZ 85365
4) 04/11/05 at 6:00pm. AGFD Tucson Regional Office. 555 N. Greasewood Road, Tucson AZ 85745
5) 04/12/05 at 6:00pm. AGFD Pinetop Regional Office. 2878 W. White Mountain Blvd., Pinetop AZ 85935
6) 04/13/05 at 6:00pm. AGFD Kingman Regional Office. 5325 Stockton Hill Road, Kingman AZ 86401
* Folks, these are NOT meetings to discuss Commission Orders (openings, closures, or bag and possession limit stuff). Instead, this is an infrequent opportunity to engage in the development of, and voice opinion on, the very rules that most-affect herper's rights in Arizona. No other set of wildlife rules in Arizona is as important to field herpers, herpetoculturists, etc. as Article 4. Fight the apathy! Unite and participate! Affect change! [Or forever hold your peace].
Enough war cries ......... please cut and paste this announcement in other herp forums, place the information in herp society bulletins, etc. .... whatever, just spread the word!
Thanks.
Jeff S.
