tail/spurs of and adult male and female...thanks

To try and compare spur size to determine sex can be a little to very misleading. "Popping" them is a better way to determine sex. Here's a link to a site that shows you a few instances with a few videos showing how it's done. If you're not sure, have someone show you, as you could injure them if done incorrectly.

Ultimately the only real way to tell is by probing them.
